WHAT: This is the group's second meeting. Dr. Grasmick will share a proposal for the Maryland High School Assessments with the group, and will ask them to provide feedback. In addition, she will request that they obtain feedback from their regions and constituencies. The three subcommittee chairs will update the main Council about the work of the Parent Involvement, Education Policy, and Nontraditional Communication subcommittees. Soo Hong will provide an updated analysis of survey data on the state of parent involvement in Maryland. The full group will review previous and current data and select issues to be further investigated by subcommittees and the main Council.

A 30-minute public comment period will be held at the end of the meeting. Comment will be limited to no longer than three-minutes per person and must deal with the Maryland High School Assessments.
